For its size this part weighs 310 g and it is horribly heavy!! It looks solid and has all the right measurements, but it didn’t have to be made of cast iron! I wanted to replace my old quill extension and longer stem with the shorter one and get rid of extra parts, like shims. Because I thought I’ll improve the function, the looks and will save some weight. In doing so, however, I made my bike much heavier, and it makes me extremely unhappy. If I knew this, I wouldn’t buy it, and certainly do…
