Terrible packaging and shipping, somewhat disappointed with quality First of all, this product was obviously not packaged by Amazon. If it were, it would not have arrived damaged .It was literally put into a giant cardboard box with no filler and only wrapped in a thin foam covering. The first time it arrived, the box was not damaged but when I opened it up, there was a giant dent on the top. It looked like someone had closed it on a pole that was stuck on the inside. The replacement fared little better, as it had a large, deep scratch on the top as well. At…
Don’t trust the Yakima Fit Guide – 2011 Honda Pilot First off, this thing is huge. I had this delivered to work and as soon as I saw the box, I knew I wouldn’t be able to get it inside the car. No big deal. I had it installed in about 15 minutes with a little help from a coworker just to get it on top of the rack. Installation was a breeze. The only issue I have with this is that it does not quite fit the Pilot eventhough Yakima’s fit guide lists this unit as a good fit on the Pilot.
