On the first extended trip, and with 108lbs of the 150 lbs limit. this hitch catastrophically failed the vertical tube and arms with the bikes separated from the lower section when it broke off. Rack bends UPDATE!!!! I never write reviews but I had to as this one is extremely important! The rack broke while driving down the freeway less than a year after purchase. It just broke in two. Look at the pictures. The bikes were scraping on the ground throwing up sparks and severely damaged. It was literally seconds from becoming totally dislodged and causing a serious car accident. I only had 3 bikes on the rack! I asked Yakima for a refund and they told me no as it was not meant to be used on RV’s…
