Sturdy but somewhat clumsy. These are sturdy stilts but have a rather clumsy design. The rods at the bottom fit a bit loosely, and so rattle — not a safety issue, just an annoyance. The top part is clumsily designed, with a rod that goes far higher than required (though perhaps some users will find the bit behind the shoulders comforting) and hand grips that project awkwardly; a simple Y grip would be simpler and more practical, and require much less metal.Note that these only raise you 18″, as…
Too heavy for a beginner
So far so good: great Christmas gift. Christmas present, so still brand new, but so far impressive. Got these for my 7 year old daughter. Easy to adjust height and get the stilts assembled. They seem sturdy and all three girls love them. I’ve noticed the handles keep coming loose. They’re hex bolts adjusted with included hex key (Alan wrench) but one handle actually fell off while my daughter was on them. She didn’t get hurt, but one could be injured as balance would be lost when the handle goes. I’ll keep an eye on them and see…
