I bought this to attach to the petal arm of my Sunny Health Stationary Bike so I can follow along with my cycle workouts via Peloton App. This sensor works great and seems accurate. I was able to follow the suggested rpm during my workout – no problem. Very happy with this purchase! If you are looking for a sensor for your stationary bike, get this one! It attaches to the petal arm with a sticky 3M piece or you can attach with zip ties. I used the sticky 3M and it held great…
Works, sort of. (Update: mostly works!) I have both the speed and cadence sensor.The cadence sensor is pretty terrible. Going at a steady pace on flat terrain without switching gears, it randomly jumps around between 60-90 RPM. Sometimes, it cuts out for a few seconds.From the looks of it the speed sensor is almost identical hardware wise, but it actually works quite a bit more reliably for me. Distance at the end of a ride is consistently within a few percent of what Google Maps claims.UPDATE…
Not a great choice for Strava TLDR; The Strava app does not use external speed sensors by design and they don’t appear to have any intention of changing this, so don’t bother purchasing this combo if your sole aim is to use them directly with Strava.You can use the Wahoo app to track your ride and then have it uploaded to Strava, but this means you’d miss out on some of the premium features of Strava that you only get in-app and the Wahoo app is fairly horrible.Overall, the cadence sensor does what…
