I may have been able to go down to a 10 and still fit, but I’m glad I got the 10.5. Are you !@#$%^& kidding me???!!!! Are you kidding me???!!!! I got seriously into cycling three years ago. I bought one performance or hybrid bike that came with stock pedals. A few weeks ago I took the bikes to the shop for a tune up. While at the shop, I asked for the price of shimano shoes and shimano pedals. I was taken aback when the clerk told me $99.99 for the shoes and $99.99 for the pedals. When I got home I found this combo on the web for $75!!!!!!!! Great shoe for non racers 5 stars for being $75. 4 stars is based soley on quality. You won’t find better value. If you’re new to biking and don’t know if clipless is for you, start with these. It has adjustable tension for clipping in and out, which is a massive pro for the first time clipless rider.If I were to disregard price and review them, I’d probably give them a 3.5 rating.
