Functional but should’ve got a cargo box Currently using on a ’14 Toyota Highlander with factory crossbars. The basket is too short to completely fit onto the crossbars so I had to tighten to ensure it doesn’t slip. No matter how its adjusted, it comes out too short for the OEM crossbars. We’ve done over 2,600 miles drive across the country and so far its held up with minor slippage. If it was just 2-3 inches longer then it would fit right. Once this trip is over we plan to throw it away. The best option would be to get a cargo box…
Starting to rust after just 2 weeks I really liked this at first. It was really solid and fit nicely on my car. I had some issues with things not lining up quite right when installing, but nothing I couldn’t muscle past.My biggest issue is with how quickly it has started to show signs of rust.
