Safely carried my bike to Paris and back I took my Trek Madone on a 2 week vacation to Paris. Read lots of reviews on other boxes before buying the Trico case (you can watch their videos where they toss if off a truck and run it over). When it arrived I was worried my bike might not fight, but it sure did. Only the bars and pedals come off. Makes it really easy to get riding when you arrive. This box with my bike weighed less than my wife’s suitcase! Through in a few misc items, but didn’t overload it.Was a little worried…
Solid case with a couple small drawbacks Basic idea for a case. A rectangular box with straps to hold it together. Easily stackable with other like-cases. (my rider buds all have this case) Easy to handle with all the straps and pulls. Love that it has rollers for easy movement through the airport. I have travelled with it twice, and Homeland Security opened it each time, leaving their little calling card inside. One time they didn’t re-strap it securely — so this is one issue, because you really have to sit on the case to close it…
Best bike case built I purchased two of these upon the recommendation of a pro cyclist. We have Specialized Triathlon bikes and they fit perfectly.
