The front holes and rear slot allow for easy handling and access. Small and lightweight (only 5 lbs), Trailer-Aid stores easily and unobtrusively. It is light enough to be carried on the finger tips, and has clean edges that won’t snag clothing or hurt hands. It offers 4-1/2” of lift giving you the clearance you need to get the job done.

This is a fantastic product IF you can achieve enough lift to install a properly inflated spare tire If you choose to purchase this tandem axle ramp, do yourself a favor and buy the “PLUS” model only (although at more than twice the price is absurd for just the added piece of rubber). Using the standard version, I was only able to get the flat tire off and did not have enough ground clearance to get the inflated spare back on. I needed to use a scissor jack that I luckily had to raise the trailer up another inch from under the leaf spring. The PLUS model of this ramp is 1 inch taller…
Not quite enough Thought this would be the answer to my problem of having to crawl under the trailer, use a bottle jack to jack up the axle of the flat tire, then change it. I was mistaken. First though, the Trailer-Aid arrived quickly, looked exactly like the picture, and has a very rugged and durable feel to it. It is bright yellow and has the one inch extension on the top as pictured. When I used it, the Trailer_Aid did just as the video said that it would, except, it did not raise the trailer front tire…
