It came off with my 1 and 5 month old in it. And my son was fine. Worth the price I finally gave in to spend the extra money on this seat and it was so worth it. It’s built very well the seat is comfortable for my almost three year old with more room to grow. I have the wee ride kangaroo which he grew out of way before the suggested age and an instep take2 bike trailer which he liked but he would get too hot in. Great Seat – Some details caught me off guard… UPDATED 7/7/14 to correct model name.This seat is fantastic. It may or may not be better than other less-expensive seats (this is the only unit I’ve tested) but it totally meets and exceeds expectations.
