About Thule
Thule was founded in 1942 by the Thulin family, when Eric Thulin, a true lover of the outdoors, put the Thule name on a pike trap he designed and began to sell in Scandinavia. It wasn’t long before he added other practical items to the company’s portfolio. By the 1960s, the company began to concentrate on car-related products, including its first roof rack. The Thulin family sold Thule to the publicly listed company Eldon in 1979, and it has continued to grow both organically and through acquisitions ever since. The Thule Group is a world leader in providing transport solutions for an active life.

No end caps UPDATE: Just FYI to everyone, the rubber load bar ends came with the Thule Traverse 480 Foot packs. Overall happy with the product.I should’ve read the gd item description and reviews before I purchased this because these don’t come with the end caps like its pictured. Had I known that, I would just gone to REI to purchase these. Also, the bars look used. I’m sure it’ll do the job and it will get dirty eventually, but still…. I paid for a new product. All these mf snakes on this…
Still don’t include the end caps in the picture Looking at some recent reviews, you might come to the conclusion that Thule heard all the complaints here about the end caps being shown in the picture, but not actually being in the box and rectified this problem. Some people claim to have gotten end caps. However, like me, you would be wrong in this conclusion. As of June 2015, they still don’t include end caps. Maybe these people saying they got end caps got them with a foot purchase? At least in my case when I was just buying the bars…
