The best hitch rack I have used! First off, this thing is nice looking. As hitch racks go this thing looks really sleek and nice on the car. The curves texture is a nice touch and accents the car nicely.I am putting this on a 2014 Ford Escape (with tow package). I used the 2″ receiver and I really like on this rack that they screw the 2″ adapter on the unit (I am surprised a rack of this size would even offer the 1.25″ hitch support) this allows the adapter part not to move around like some other…
Does the job with a few gripes, do not pay full price for the Snug-tite lock! Overall, I’m relatively happy with this bike carrier. Installation was simple and was able to fit all our bikes on the rack though, depending on the bike (ie. children’s, even with the bar adapter) you’ll need to MacGuyver it sometimes. Not sure if I’m completely sold with the “anti-sway” system that involves the extension pieces. In some instances it worked fine, while others it was tough to have the extra plastic mold flush with the frame. I think one of the extension pieces fell out…
