Mounted firmly and stayed in place for a 6oo mile trip filled with 5 pairs of skis and 4 set of poles. Use the provided tied down straps was too hard to do. So we placed a couple pieces on large soft foam on top of the skis to hold them in place and keep them from bouncing.Since we had this mounted on my SUVs I bring a folding ladder with so I can get into it. Mounted on ’15 Nissan Rogue SV w/ factory cross bars Purchased the Thule Pulse 615 for installation onto 2015 Nissan Rogue SV with factory roof rails/crossbars. I will be using to transport camping gear or snowboard equipment. I originally wanted to the Thule Force L (16 cf) but a reviewer indicated that the Force is slightly too wide for the Rogue’s factory crossbar’s.
