Once it is dry, be sure to tighten the hose at the base of the bladder—the O-ring gasket needs to sit down into the receiver so it can seal properly—this will prevent leaking. Theme park envy
trailrunner 2.0 After having read the reviews on this saying that it constantly leaked I was a little hesitant on purchasing this, but I needed a hydration pack for my marathon and I didn’t want to spend 60$ on an expensive one. When it arrived I opened it up, and was very pleased. It is nice and light, as well as sturdy.The bladder feels good as well, however it did have a very plasticy taste. I ended up leaving it soaking overnight with a little bit of bleach, water, and lemon juice then rinsing…
First time out, held up. Now I need to learn to use it. Getting back into running and I needed something for my long runs. I’ve been running while carrying a water bottle which has been hard to manage. Took it on a test run today. Got that horrid taste that everyone else says and found it hard to draw water from, though I think I had the tip sideways. Sitting here writing this review I can draw water just fine. Still couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong mid-run. This wasn’t my long run, so I’m glad I tested today and hopeful the next time out…
