Nice but sunlite adjustable quill provides more range and ease of installation When looking to raise your handlebars please note this major factor:This has 1 bolts without compression plate which requires the handlebars to be fully stripped of tape/brakes/cables etc. There are other stems such as the sunlite adjustable quill stem which has a removable plate that allows the handlebar to be placed in then clipped, without removing all the accessories and other parts. Also, given the additional adjustment it actually can become equally as high as this stem but…
Well it’s a Ten Dollar Stem… So here is the thing… it’s a ten dollar stem. In that context it gets four stars for existing and matching its description. It is not light; it is not smooth; it sort of looks like it was welded by lemurs wearing mittens. The weld joining the stem to the quill on mine looks like it had some bubbles in it, but, and I’m no welder, it seems to have its structural integrity intact. Having said all that, it is a long stem.
