odd fit It’s a little tough to review something like this because every kid is built a little differently. My kid is 3 (wanted these to go with her scooter for her birthday). She’s 30lbs, average height/weight ratio for a girl, she wears 3T-4T. The elbow pads were loose but the knee pads are tight. She kept saying “ouch-ouch” while I was securing these. The straps are scratchy and seem uncomfortable, and too short. I don’t think she has big thighs, certainly not that of a 5 year old. Buying…

My granddaughter is 2-years-old and the knee pads are a little on the big side for her (she’s average height and weight for her age). As long as she wears them over long pants, they stay up.
