Sturdy! I received this carrier with a purchase of a CRF80. It sat in a corner of my garage in the box it shipped in until I was bored and decided to assemble it with the idea of selling it. Then I decided to try it instead of using a ramp into the bed of my truck. I’ve used it ever since. It was easy to assemble but confusing as to how it actually works w/ the removable bolts and anti-wobble hardware. I figured out that the removable bolts were used to accommodate different size motorcycles. I gave up…
The ramp sucks… otherwise it’s halfway OK, kind of If you’re looking at this one you’re probably looking at it because it’s the cheapest option for this style hitch carrier ramp for your dirt bike / motorcycle. I know I was..On the plus side, the carrier itself felt plenty strong to hold my bike (2011 YZ450F). I added a hitch stabilized to stop it from rolling side to side and honestly that part was fine. The biggest negative, however, is the ramp. It’s so short you might as well be throwing your bike up on the ramp…
