my fave shifter I love these shifters… the same set sell for between 10 and 40 bucks,,, On the 10 dollar end of that price range I bought several. I have several bikes these days and always use this shifter to replace an annoying or overly expensive older speed shifter. I must have installed 5 of these indexed 7 speed shifters, In a couple years I have yet to have one fail. Thumbies for thumbies. Thumbies!! The simplicity of this shifter and it’s low weight and cost is what influenced my choice towards this purchase. Also, as these were replacing the original Deore XT thumb shifters that came with my 1989 Klein (and were state-of-the-art at the time), I was interested in the progression from an engineering standpoint.I found foremost, that the lever on this SL-TX30 shifter exerts enough force on the down-shift that I do not have to work it with my palm (which made my old shifter a…
