Beware of the size chart! Unfortunately, the size chart that is available on this product page is incorrect. My husband wears a size 11 Wide and therefore purchased these size 45 Wide shoes based on the size chart on this page. He tried them on and his toes were at the very end and he said they were just way too small. Upon putting them back in the box, I noticed the actual size chart on the bottom of the box. As you can see from the photo I took, a size 45 is actually a size 10 1/2. No wonder they were too small…
Easy entry, comfortable fit, adaptable I have only had these shoes for a few days, but I wanted to share my initial feedback in hopes of helping others. I wear a size 12.5 running shoe and I purchased the size 48 WIDE which seems to be a perfect fit for my foot shape. I do a lot of barefoot and minimal running, so my toes splay wider (naturally) and my foot is generally wider now, so my old cycling shoes were just not cutting it any more. When wide doesn’t really mean wide. When they say wide they really don’t mean it. I had to one and a half sizes larger to get the width I need. Then you would think that they would put longer straps across the top to compensate for a wider foot, but no. The ratcheting straps are not long enough to engage in the take up mechanism. I will write to the factory to try to get longer straps because these shoes seem to be the only game in town for those of us with wide feet. Not all cyclists are of the string bean type.The…
