It lasted for about 50 yards and then split open. This was my second Schwinn tube to fail shortly after installing. After the first one failed I assumed that I must have pinched it during installation. So, I took extreme care while installing the second one. I inflated it at the recommended pressure. After riding my bike about 50 yards it suddenly deflated. I took it out and discovered it had about a 2 inch split. Then I discovered the tube was made of very thin rubber.
