It would be nice if it had locking mechanisms built in like a … Well, you get what you pay for and for $102 (free shipping) it gets the job done. The holes don’t always line up cleanly and it’s not clear why the main bolt that holds the rack in the receiver has so many extra threads. The pin that unclips to allow the rack to fold down (so you can get to your hatch back) takes some muscle power to get in & out, and may smooth out over time. Good quality bike rack. No contact with the automobile which is a big plus. Works as advertised. I had to use bungee cords to secure the two bikes to the main post to keep them from swinging, but it works fine. A long cable type bicycle lock through the bicycle frames and around the main post will also work. A couple bungee cords to hold the wheels together to keep them from moving or turning is also necessary.
