I intentionally rode over the worst rocky areas and am happy to report that these … Bought these so I could ride on unpaved paths without constantly worrying about punctures. They weren’t especially difficult to mount. As a test, I went to a new 3-mile long unpaved trail, half of which is reasonably well packed crushed gravel, and half of which is rough with a lot of loose gravel and small sharp rocks that haven’t had a chance to wear down yet.
