and almost every day I run over glass shards and other sharp objects that could easily give me flat with any other tire I bike commute in San Francisco, and almost every day I run over glass shards and other sharp objects that could easily give me flat with any other tire. However, this tire continues to take abuse and come out absolutely unscathed. In over 1 and a half years of daily commutes, I haven’t gotten a *single* flat. I once ran over a large staple that got stuck in the tire (and rode with it in there for a few blocks), but no flat. These are worth every single cent – I would be happy to pay double for…
I intentionally rode over the worst rocky areas and am happy to report that these … Bought these so I could ride on unpaved paths without constantly worrying about punctures. It’s also harder to avoid potholes and debris with a trike since the wheels don’t track each other. I replaced the rear tire after 3000 miles with another Marathon…
