Retrospec Bicycles Speck Fiberglass Folding Bike Pedals, Black
Fold it in, fold it up and fold it away. Minimize the space your bike takes with Retrospec Bicycles’ Speck Fiberglass Folding Pedals. Like our folding bikes, these pedals transform from full-sized to pocket-sized (alright, so maybe you can’t actually fit our folding bikes in your pocket, but you know what we mean). At full extension, our Speck folding pedals measure 11cm and 5.5cm when folded, saving you a total of 11cm in width. Think of all the nooks and crannies you could fit your bike into. Simply pull the spring-loaded pitchfork-shaped lever and pull up or push down to fold these pedals away. These folding pedals can be easily installed on any bike, from folding bikes to fixed gears and city bikes. The raised edges and sunken grooves on the face of these pedals catch your foot to keep it in place. The fiberglass construction is not only stronger than plastic and lighter than alloy, but it is also reinforced with nylon and surrounds a boron steel axle, making these pedals extra durable. The built-in reflectors will keep you safe while you ride day in and day out.

Great replacement for the Citizen Tokyo folding bicycle (9/16″ spindle) I just received the pedals in the mail today and they look like they will do the job. You grip the D shaped hole in the center with your fingers as you rest your palm on the outside edge of the pedal and squeeze in order to fold the pedals. Both pedals I received seem like the bearings are slightly over tightened as they have a gritty feel when turning as opposed to a smoothly spinning bearing feel.I contacted the seller to ask if this is normal for new pedals. It could be that…
