Ram Mount needs to add zip ties to their packaging. This clamp works really good but the rubber grommets eventually work their way up the x-clamp arms and come off. This usually happens on a bumpy road. I purchased more of the rubber grommets and asked Ram Mount what could be done to correct the issue. The told me to use super glue. I tried that and it worked for a while but I eventually lost more of them. Fantastic Mount With 1 Flaw I purchased this Ram Mount for my 2009 Kawasaki Versys 650 and I have been loving it so far. The X-Grip holds the phone firmly and would require a large amount of force to fall out. I have unfortunately dropped my bike while using this mount and my phone stayed in place. I don’t have enough praise. I have 3 of these. Yes, I could easily have only one, and move that one when I need it, but. I love the x-grip so much I decided to permanently mount one in my truck. That allows me to move the other two from motorcycle 1 to car 2 to mountain bike to motorcycle 2 to scooter to 4 Wheeler 1 or 2, etc. Once you get used to having one in your life, you will never go back.
