A well built bike at a reasonable price… Purchased this for my son in order to get around at school/fitness. Very well made bicycle that was very easily assembled. The bike came with a 1×8 Shimano Hyperglide gearset (11-34), Shimano Acera rear derailleur, 27.5 x 2.00 tires, no side stand, and pedals. I have since added F&R fenders and an underseat bag. The bike rides very nice and have high expectations for it. I have had very good experiences with Raleigh bikes, owning three over the last +20 yrs, and never had any quality issues…
This bike has not disappointed and is doing exactly what I had hoped it would, at a reasonable value I chose this bike because I wanted something that I could use both on and off road. I live in a city with a lot of bike theft, so I wanted a bike that was high quality, but not too expensive too replace.I use it to commute to work and was able to install both front and rear racks to carry my gear. Picked up to use as my around town cruiser bike. I ended up getting a great deal on it due to some minor damage – mostly cosmetic, but some was more. After swapping out a part and doing a little repair this bike is working great.
