Looks Can Be Deceiving… The crate is definitely beautiful, but it got caught in the rain once and was ruinedâthe material at the bottom is a veneer rather than solid wood, so it bubbled and warped.It was also dang hard to install: it came with no directions, first of all. Second, even though my rack is from Pure City as well, the channel in the center of the bottom didn’t fit properly on top of the rack, which screwed up the crossbarsand bolts. Last, I screwed it on as tightly as I could, and it still…
Looks cool and that’s it.
