Works for my Brompton 13 Jun – Changed my rating from 5 to 3 stars. The problem with the design of the cage is, when you hit a bump and the bottle jumps 1 cm, the bottle stays floating at 1 cm. You hit another bump, it gets higher and stay there. Until the bottle falls out. The mount is good with the different angled options, that’s why its still 3 stars, but the cage is the problem. I just replaced them with some cheapo ones from Decathlon, and bought bottles also from Decathlon. It doesn’t grip the bottle…
First it rattled like all heck First it rattled like all heck. So I took advice from others and used loctite to make sure the screws were secured. Second, the water bottles kept on falling out. A fellow triathlete recommended using hair ties to hold the water bottles down. The final straw was it just snapped. I was simply riding and hit a bump. The water bottle was half-full. And it just snapped off when I hit a bump on my TT bike. Very disappointed. And now I need to buy another, which will definitely not be from Profile…
