Simple and sturdy I think these are a bit down on quality than I was expecting for the price. It seems made well so far, but things like the fact the only thing separating the very bottom of the shoe/foot board is the insert pads. And single patch of adhesively-stuck cloth to cover up the clip mounting holes. The top strap is slightly uncomfortable with the tongue being a bit thin and the strap biting into the extensor tendon on the top of the foot. BUT.
