Onguard Clamp Bracket Lock

If you ride with any regularity, don’t waste your time or money. These will, for a time, hold your lock on your bike. The clamping mechanism makes it one of the easier mounts to use in terms of getting your lock on and off the bike. Until it breaks, it’s a fairly pleasant mount to use.My first (the one that came with the bike) cracked at the part that clamps it onto the bike frame. Not a good design The one that came with the lock broke. The little plastic part that holds the lock in place cracked and broke off. I bought another. That lasted about 2 months before it also broke. Lightning doesn’t often strike twice in the same place, so I’d have to report that either the design is defective or the materials are cheap. Or both.All that being said, the design of this bracket is just, well, bad. It really needs to be re-thought. The yellow side of the clamp is spring loaded…
