Omega: Liam & Skye
Alluring but barren, omega is an unfortunate affliction Skye is trying to outrun. He gets away with it for several years, fleeing to a new city whenever the wolves get too close, but his survival mechanism creates a terrible, unforeseen result. By dodging and ducking every rogue alpha to approach him, the one that finally keeps up is the size of a truck. Liam is not a wolf to be disrespected, and Skye is all too aware of his place in the pack. Natural selection has never been kind to him.
But, strangely, Liam sort of is.
Liam doesn’t have a plan, but he’s got the basics covered. As far as food, shelter, and clothing are concerned, he does right by his omega. But still the smaller wolf flinches from him and never speaks. Every mild suggestion is obeyed to the letter. Something’s not right, he knows that, but maybe it’s for the best.
Skye wouldn’t stay if he learned the truth.
Omega: Liam and Skye is a finished serial novel containing all 11 books plus a bonus epilogue.
So much potential down the drain While full of potential the story ends up falling flat. The author lets suspence build and build only for it to be released in a deus ex machina solution that completely changes the dynamic between the main characters. While character growth and learning is always interesting to read about, in this case the change literally arrives like a thunderbolt, and upends the rest of the story so it reads as predictably as a high school essay, and with as much depth. What makes it all the more…
I seem to have a love/hate relationship with this book. There was a large section of the book that was just boring. In part of this boring area, there is a chapter where we read a situation from Liam’s point of view, and the next chapter is the same situation from Skye’s point of view where it feels like the same words only the names are changed around. Also, the typos, there are so many. Mostly words being left out of sentences, so you have to read it twice to try and understand…
