These baskets are replicas of the Nantucket Lightship baskets, which were first produced in Nantucket during the whaling era of the 1800s. Great bicycle basket!
Very small This item is beautiful. It is high quality. The opening dimensions are 8-1/2″ long (side to side), 6-1/2″ deep and 5″ wide (front to back). This is a perfect size for my granddaughters new Christmas beach cruiser that has 20″ wheels.
