Strong, lightweight and a bargain. I am a heavier rider (250lbs+) that puts in 100 to 200 miles weekly in the concrete urban jungle southeast of Houston. The poor condition of the roads has led to the demise of 2 wheels in the last 3 years (an Alex R-500 36h aluminum rear, and a Mavic Ksyrium Elite 20h, also a rear wheel). I purchased these Cxp22’s after reading reviews and hearing from other riders of their bulletproof reputation, and so far I am delighted. Great economical choice. No regrets. I got these for my 2yr old Specialized Allez when a car hit me and bent my back wheel. I didn’t want to spend too much but I wanted a set, so a took the chance on these less expensive wheels. I’m very pleased. They came nicely packaged and ready to go. THE wheel-set to buy on a budget! Would buy again! First off I am super glad these came with tires and tubes, I broke both of my previous wheels on an expansion plate crossing a bridge while commuting to work at about 35mph and destroyed one of the tubes in the process. I also needed a new rear tire and alas I didn’t want to by everything separately.That said, sturdy wheel-set, tires, tubes, shipping and all for under $200 you can’t really ask for a better deal!
