Frequently Asked Questions:
*Q: Is the turn suppose to be rough?
– A: Yes, initially the rotation can feel coarse from the factory, and will go away after a break-in period of approx. 50 miles.
* Q: Should I do anything special during installation?
– A: We suggest using a little oil on the threads any time you’re replacing bike pedals.
* Q: Will these pedals replace 1/2″ pedals?
-A: No. These are 9/16″. Since the difference is only 1/16″ it is VERY hard to “eyeball” which size you need. Consult your owners’ manual or the bike manufacturer website to verify which size fits your bike.
*Q: How do I tell the left pedal from the right?
-A: The left pedal has 3 vertical grooves in alternating faces of the nut. The right pedal has a smooth nut.

Simple solution. I will start by saying that these are good pedals IMHO. That being said the fact that they say they may turn rough for the first 50 miles is ridiculous. The pedals should turn freely from the start. If the outer bearing nut is adjusted properly the pedals would turn smooth and free right from the start. For those that receive these pedals that turn rough there is a simple solution. First go to a hardware store and buy a pair of M7 nyloc nuts. Remove the end cap off the spindle. Remove…
Great for big feet. I’ve been running a pair of these on my Diamondback Insight for almost a year now – and that’s longer than the original pedals lasted me, so the durability is decent. These oversized platform pedals have been an excellent solution for me. They are large enough that I can use both toe clips and panniers at the same time without having to worry about my heels hitting my baggage. That’s a pretty big deal for my longer daytrips and summer touring. Even without the Panniers or clips the extra size…
