These are decent pads. But the metal is a bit much. It scratches and dings very easily. Ultimately that’s fine because those are scratches and dings not in my skin. The strap system is just velcro and elastic. They occasionally slip out of place. The knee pads particularly will almost immediately travel to the sides of my legs while I’m walking. These look nice and will likely add a bit more protection if gear is being used. I wanted to like these and keep them, but unfortunately they would not stay in place on my legs. I do have unusually large thighs and calves; what I call “T-rex legs”. Huge thigh, slim knee area, and huge calves. Maybe if I had normal sized legs they would fit okay. In addition, one of the pads had a bad manufacturing defect. One pad had ample Velcro strapping in the calf area, the other pad had…
