My gear set-up is a couple generations old, and as such is still a 9 speed. This chain went on easily. Took a couple links out to match the length to my old chain. Great Chain I like the KMC chains for my mountain bike. Great price and comes with the Missing Link, which makes it easy to install. I just remove the old chain with a chain removal tool (you need to crank on that baby to get the pin out) and use the old chain to measure the new chain to the right size.
