Digging the vintage brown! I purchased 2 sets, Retro Brown and Natural Brown. They both look great paired with Brooks saddles on our blue Trek road bikes. Very happy with the look, finish, feel, and ease of installation. I would have been happy with maybe an extra couple inches of wrap for each bar since I was short just a hair, but not a huge deal. This could very well have been my error while installing. The wrap is slightly stretchy, but wont break easily during install like some I’ve used in the past…
Comfortable & easy to use This Handlebar tape is next to worthless. I would never recommend it. It is NOT easy to install. In fact, it is impossible to make a nice neat well fitted wrap with it. I am not a rookie. I have done all of the maintenance on my bikes for 34 years. I spent 1 solid hour trying to make a nice installation on one side of my handlebar. I pulled, tried to stretch it, changed the angle, changed the overlap. NOTHING I could do would make it remotely acceptable. I could not get this tape to wrap neatly…
