Great product Good, low level of security. Would not leave my bike locked with this thing for too long. Alright to run into the bank or Starbucks. Telling it straight, as a master welder I have tools to cut through in seconds, but not any faster than much more expensive locks. Compact design. Bike was stolen because lock was cut easily Bike lock is sleek, fairly lightweight, but will NOT stand up to bolt cutters. If you live in a very low crime area this lock will make it harder for a crime of convenience, but we had this locked up in our car port and someone scoped it out, left, grabbed some bolt cutters and got the bike free in a matter of minutes. We have hd video of the crime so we know there was not a long struggle getting the lock cut. Super disappointed because I don’t think we will ever get that $500 brand new bike…
Good but look for the same lock rebranded and selling for less As other reviewers have mentioned, this mounts onto the bike frame well and doesn’t rattle around. At the time I purchased it was an extra 5 or 6 dollars for the anti-hydraulic shears but now the difference is more like two dollars. Even for the extra I paid I feel better with the “stronger” version even though I can’t say for certain how much more secure it is.
