First thing yes it folds but not the pedals or handlebars. I got a pair of folder pedals for less than $10 and the handles bars a quick allen bolt release so they can be turned parallel with the bike. I was looking for a fold-able bike and settled for this one. It’s easy enough to put together. You only need to install 4 things: front wheel, handle, saddle, and paddles. I did’t install the mud guards because I thought it looked better without them. The build is solid. The ride feels great. Yes, it’s heavy but not unusually heavy.
