Reasons Why This Bike is Fairly Inexpensive Lots of problems in less than a year after I purchased this bike. 1) First and foremost, the part of the pedal assist function seems easy to get broken (mine = broken twice already) and I had to use only “throttle” function until I received the replacement part from the seller. I assume it’s gonna happen again. After reading many reviews of ebikes and etrikes from China, I was anxious about issues with assembly, missing parts, or perhaps damage. This came via UPS in an undamaged box. SPECTACULAR DEAL FOR THE PRICE (~$400 in 11/2017). ABOUT THE REAL-LIFE POWER:The manual has the poor and hard-to-follow english typical of many Chinese import goods. It also seems to be a combination manual for this e-bike and other e-bikes that “Costway” manufactures, so that also makes it somewhat confusing. Anyway, on page 12 it states “the local standard weight is 75kg) (include the rider weight), please do not overload.” I believe 75kg is 165 pounds.
