The Jacket transforms the fat pedal riding experience, thanks in part to the Vibram MegaGrip rubber outsole. This rubber compound was engineered for exceptional grip for trail riding, dirt jumping and downhilling. Other highlights include a low-profle upper, an EVA cushioning in the midsole (that helps to reduce shock) and a poron XRD heel pad that helps minimize the impact of hard landings and bailouts. With a variety of on-point color options, these shoes are just as comfortable at happy hour in the Whistler Village as they are bombing down A-Line.

Great flat pedal shoe that doesn’t look silly Giro shoes fit me pretty well. The 46 fits me perfectly in all Giro shoes that I have worn. I wear an 11.5-12 in all other shoes for reference.I have put these things through their paces on my Giant Trance SX with Shimano Saint pd-mx80 platform pedals with the spacer washers removed from the pins. For comparison, I have done tons of riding with just regular shoes with the same set up and always had my feet slipping off and ruining my momentum or resulting in the dreaded pedal…

Great shoes – they do run a bit small though.
