Giordano Rapido Single Speed Road Bike (56cm)
Giordano Rapido Single Speed Road Bike (12780) The Rapido is all about keeping things simple and getting it done without breaking the bank. At the heart of the Rapido you’ll find a strong hand crafted steel frame with horizontal dropouts that can handle the abuse of the big city. City riders told us that they didn’t need derailleurs so we listened and outfitted the Rapido with a flip flop hub so you can run it as a fixed gear or in standard freewheel single speed mode without having to worry about adjustments to temperamental components. The 32 hole alloy wheels roll on loud Kenda 700 x 32 tires that are capable of withstanding less than perfect roads. Front and rear alloy side pull brakes round out this spectacular spec. GREAT BIKE!!! 4 YEARS AND 2,200 MILES LATER!!! I bought this bike back when I was 16 years old (4 years ago). I was an endurance cyclist that rode at least 44 miles a weekend and this bike has been nothing but GREAT! The bike tracked about 2,000 miles in 2 years and the other 200 from short rides to the closest 7-Eleven liquor store. I actually still own this bike and I can tell you from the 4 years of abuse that you cannot go wrong with this bike. It’s durable as HELL!!! Mine is as close to STOCK as you can get. I completely removed the…
Impressed. I purchased this bike a few months ago to commute to and from school, about 3 miles. I read a lot of reviews and it seemed that if you had some tools and could tinker a little that this was a good bike. I was a little concerned hearing about tires popping because of lack of protection inside the tire. I looked inside and saw a guard so thought I’d just leave it as is and see how it went. The tires have been great, so I think they may have fixed the problem. For the first few weeks I…
You can’t beat this road bike for the price Shipped fast. The first one I got had tires that wouldn’t hold air, but they shipped a new bike to replace it quickly. The bad thing about that was I had to assemble the new bike and disassemble the first one to ship it back. That was annoying, but the new bike works great. FYI, the wrap on the handlebars has no cushion to speak of, so your hands can get sore after a while. Either wait for your hands to toughen up or buy a cushioned grip to wrap over the original. Overall, you can’t beat…
