Finally found my shoe! I like to ride clipless pedals with a surrounding platform, and most of the standard cross country shoes don’t give you much benefit from that surrounding platform. These shoes perfectly fit the bill and actually make the surrounding platform useful. They are stiff, but not too stiff and provide good foot protection. Great shoes, but they do not come in an extra wide. I really liked these shoes. The build quality is very good and I liked the colors. Unfortionately, the size 48 was too tight mostly across the metatarsal of my foot and in the width. Even taking the inner soles out, they were still a little too tight. I was going to go one size bigger, but could not find a 49 in these colors. I wear a size 13 US shoes. I finally decided to go to a local bike shop and buy a pair there.
