Decent, but odd sizing in the toe area. Reinforced toe is good but may not fit as expected. These are a great design idea, with a couple of flaws. I put over 1,000 miles on a set of regular Freeriders (XC, DH, Enduro), so I was pretty excited to try these because of the new toe protection. Unfortunately they don’t fit like regular Freeriders – the toe box is quite a bit wider, and as a result my feet never really felt planted on the pedals while wearing them. Check your size! Went through three pairs of shoes to find these. The quality, materials, and craftsmanship seem to be worth the price point. The shoe is lightweight compared to the other shoes I received and returned. However the toes of this shoe is rounded “duckbilled” and reinforced like the steel toes in a work boot, so the normal size 12 that I wear are just a tad short for the length of my big toe and second toe, if there was some “give” they would work.
