Great bike for the money! We wanted an aluminum frame bike, important for a six year old, high quality shimano shifter for ease of shifting and longevity to be passed along to younger brothers, and the adjustable handlebar height helps us get to a 20in wheel soooner and keep it longer as he grows. Not a good trail bike. Should have gone Kona Makena I wanted to like it, but it’s just a box store quality bike. Specs make it seem like it’s ready to hit real trails, but it’s not. Not even the kid trails. I’ve turned wrenches on bikes long enough to know what trail capable looks like, and this isn’t it. My 7 year old was ready for a 20″ bike with gears and a little suspension for kids trails in local MTB parks where dad also likes to play.
