The Speedpack 480 is a top tube-mounted gel, fuel, and gear pack that is designed to improve the aerodynamic characteristics of your road, triathlon, or time trial bike. Wind tunnel testing has shown that, depending on the bike and stem design, the addition of a top tube bento-type pack can actually reduce a bike’s aero drag. And reducing drag means more speed at a given power output. To maximize the aero advantage of the Speedpack 480, we gave it an advanced computer-designed aero shape unlike that of any other top tube pack. And we integrated a host of unique features that reduce drag, improve on-bike stability, ease usability, and also maintain high durability. (Note: if your bike has top tube entry aero cabling where cables enter the top tube vertically just behind the stem, you may get a better fit with the Speedpack 483. But a single top tube cable that’s oriented horizontally–like the rear brake cable on a Cervelo P2 or P3– won’t cause issues for the Speedpack 480.)
