Great product and company. Great trainer. I’m not super well versed in trainers, so I can’t comment on the “road feel” of this versus the Wahoo unit, etc. But I can say that they’re a smaller company and they’re very responsive. I had a couple questions while setting this up, and it was easy to get a tech on the phone for help. I’ve tried that when I had trouble with other cycling bluetooth devices, and the customer service was not as good. The product pairs on the first try every ride, and it works…
This is my second smart trainer, I bought the Tacx Vortex and it … This is my second smart trainer, I bought the Tacx Vortex and it didn’t work, right out of the box and software and apps were difficult to set up. And the training website is not compatible with Apple. I purchased this CycleOps and it was much easier to set up than the Tacx however the Cycleops had a serious construction flaw that made it dangerous to use (one of the leg extensions was not properly soldered to the main body so there was tremendous flex after about 30 minutes of riding).
