Good basic tire for older road bikes Good basic street tire for older road bikes. Can’t argue with the price. I put these on a 1984 Schwinn Le Tour Luxe. Perfect fit, easy mounting. The rubber is uniform, fresh and sticky. I didn’t find any QC issues upon inspection. The blackwall tire looks much better than the ancient gumwall tires. Cornering is good even in wet conditions. Speed is pretty good with the raised strip. These are manufactured by Cheng Shin Tire in China. These do smell strongly of rubber for a couple of weeks but…
