Continental Grand Prix 4000s II Cycling Tire, Black, 700×23
Continental 0100000 Grand Prix 4000S 700 x 23 Black Tire with Black Chili boasts global appeal as the best all round race bike tire on the market. The all black Grand Prix 4000 S catches the eye with its big silver labels. Aggressive and posh alike, it matches every high-end race bike perfectly. With the reduction to black and silver the Grand Prix 4000S does not clash with the frames color or rim stickers. S stands for sport, special and “Schwarz“ – the German term for black. But the Grand Prix 4000 S can do more than just look good. Not only is it fast and super grippy, thanks to its state-of-the-art Black Chili rubber compound, but it is also tough with a healthy tread layer and of course our Vectran anti puncture breaker layer underneath. So for reliability, longevity and all out performance for your race machine, the Grand Prix 4000s is the only choice. Specs: Color – black/black skin foldable; Black Chili – yes; Weight – 205 grams; Recommended PSI – 110; Maximum PSI – 120; PU – 10.

Changing from the stock tire that came on my first bike to the 4000 S was a night and day difference in feel and handling. The center of the tire has…
Great, Overall Road Tire – Highly Recommend

The rear Nitro 2 went flat, early on, during two rides in a row from what seemed really little insignificant little pieces of steel – almost like steel dust – so it got changed out for a Conti Gatorskin (more weight on the rear means more flats, or the chance for more flats). The front Nitro 2, however, I’ve kept on the bike for about 1600 or 1800 miles. Finally wishing to invest in my bike, and lighten the rotating mass (wire beads to…
