Decent unit with a couple flaws First, the good news, which outweighs the bad:The CatEye Velo 9 screen is large and easy to see. The single button operation to scroll through the displays is easy and fast. A long push on the same button will also serve to reset trip mileage and stats. Again, intuitive and easy. Fantastic and easy for even a novice installer Fantastic product. I was a little leery to install this because I had never installed one before but the directions were very clear and I was able to quickly and easily install it with just a few typical tools you’d have around the house. One tip I’d give is to make sure you are very happy with the zip ties before you pull them tight. Wire is Way Too Short! The unit is simple and seems very reliable (unlike all of those wireless units). I got this to replace a wireless Cateye that only works when it wants to. This unit is simple and doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles. I think the device is great… except that the wire is EXTREMELY short (just 29 inches long).
